AMD har utvecklat ett riktigt bra grafikkort. Powercolor har i sin tur tagit referensdesignen, skruvat upp den, och levererat en produkt som lever upp till förväntningarna - och i vissa fall överträffar dem.

Esta generación, con modelos como la PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 9070 Hellhound a la que hoy hacemos review parece combinar una eficiencia notable, con configuraciones de energía propias de anteriores generaciones, además de ofrecer un rendimiento capaz de suministrar suficientes FPS para un juego de calidad en 4K en los principales títulos del momento. Estas nuevas gráficas también introducen nuevas prestaciones, de las que daremos algunos detalles, donde destaca el nuevo FSR 4, la primera generación de algoritmos entrenados con IA.

AMD zet met zijn RX 9070-serie videokaarten op basis van de RDNA 4-architectuur grote stappen. De fabrikant is aan de slag geweest met zo'n beetje elk bekend pijnpunt van eerdere Radeons om hierin verbetering aan te brengen.

Hier überzeugte uns die Powercolor Red Devil Radeon RX 9070 XT hinsichtlich guter Temperaturen.

Die Radeon RX 9070 XT Red Devil von PowerColor bietet gute Spieleleistung, die sogar mit der Radeon RX 7900 XTX fast mithalten kann und nahe an die GeForce RTX 4080 Super herankommt

The PowerColor Reaper Radeon RX 9070 XT is actually the smallest card of the bunch. Although it’s packing a triple-fan cooler, the card measures only 304mm x 127mm x 42mm and is only two-slots wide. The PowerColor Reaper’s physical dimensions are much more in-line with smaller, dual-slot cards of the past.

Even more impressive than the thermals on the PowerColor cards is their noise levels. Only the RTX 4070 ended up being quieter than the 9070 XT, but it also ran quite a bit warmer. Not that any of these cards are really running hot, but it does show that traditional cooler designs with triple fans are still very capable.

The actual battery life is more around 20/25 hours than the 30 hours announced by PowerColor. It will take a good two hours to fully charge your ALPHYN AH10 headset. As for the audio quality, it is very good and its wireless use is a real plus. The feeling when using it and the finish are at the same level as the last headsets we tested. On the one hand, we are happy to see PowerColor expand its product range, but if we had to end on a downside, it concerns the price, 99.90 euros that we would have liked to see around 75/80 euros. Thanks to PowerColor for providing us with this copy of the ALPHYN AH10, and why not, an ALPHYN AH10 Red Devil edition in a few months.

Build quality is robust, though certain design choices, like the hollow-feeling headband and exposed coiled wire, slightly detract from its premium appeal. With that being said, the Alphyn AH10 looks like it can take a tumble, and I have no problem believing it will last for years to come. With some refinements, PowerColor could transform this headset into a serious competitor in the gaming peripheral market. As it stands, however, the $100 price tag of the Alphyn AH10 might need to be adjusted downward if PowerColor aims to achieve a true breakthrough in a field they are only just beginning to explore.
