Proposition 65 officially The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law to protect drinking water sources from toxic substances which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Pursuant to Proposition 65, businesses are required to provide warnings to California consumers if their product contain or may contain any of the approximately 900 chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm as listed on the Proposition 65 List.
You may have seen the following warnings on the label of our products:
” ⚠ WARNING: “Cancer and Repro ductive Harm - www.p65warnings.ca.gov.”
The warning does not mean that our products will necessarily cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm, or are in violation of any product-safety standards or requirements.
We believe our products are not harmful when used as designed, and we provide this warning to in order to ensure compliance with Proposition 65.
